The Interlachen Blanket is a sewing pattern screen printed on a surplus wool blend army blanket. The garments are designed by fashion designer Danielle Everine. She has designed a beautiful and timeless set of outerwear. On one side of the blanket there is a pattern for a Parka, a hooded pull-over jacket and on the other is a pattern for a pair of Bibs, high-wasted pants with built in suspenders.
The pattern is screen printed, by hand, onto each side of the blanket, this does away with the need for paper patterns making the process much easier than other sewing projects. The pattern from the reverse side becomes a subtle geometric pattern on the garment you choose to make.
